Back in Jan/Feb, we shared a roundup of some tips on how to Create a 30 – 40 Piece Capsule Wardrobe for 2016. While we weren’t quite ready to go all-in on a capsule wardrobe this year, we did take some advice from Un-fancy.com and Project333 and found the perfect all-season dress. Our Pocket Perfect Chambray dress can easily transition from Summer to Fall, and Winter to Spring by just mixing and matching it with basics you already have.
We just love owning pieces that we can wear for multiple seasons. It not only helps save time and money but we love the creativity involved in styling a great all-season garment. Plus this particular dress has the cutest pockets ever! I mean we could live in our Pocket Perfect Chambray dress. Keep reading to see three fun ways to style this darling Summer dress for Fall.
In our first example, we layered our Pocket Perfect dress over a cute pattern blouse. Our On the Prowl Navy Blouse is a great option because the uniqueness of the animal print adds an element of interest to the outfit. We then paired the top and dress with some brown suede stacked heel boots. This is perfect to wear with bare legs, during early Fall months.
In our next example, we wore our Pocket Perfect dress over a pussy bow blouse. Our Sweet As A Rose Blouse is great because not only does it have a sweet bow detail, but the dusty rose color adds a bit of romance to the outfit. Pair this ensemble with your favorite oxfords or loafers and you’ll have the perfect Japanese fashion inspired look.
In our final example, we donned a super comfy, oversized thick knit cardigan. Our Just in the Nick of Time Dolman Sleeve Cardigan has so many delightful details including roomy pockets, mixed knit patterns, and a shawl collar; when worn with our Pocket Perfect Chambray dress it gives off an effortlessly chic feel. We added some chunky black booties, for an edgy touch.
We hope to have inspired you to select some of your favorite Summer dresses and take them along with you as we get closer to Fall. Check out our Dresses collection for more fun styles inspired by fashion trends in Korea & Japan.
